HOW TO RECOVER A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT, EVEN WITHOUT EMAIL ACCESS

We'll show you how to log back into your Facebook account, regardless of whether you forgot your password or it was compromised. The information you provided and approved when you first created your account is the foundation for the majority of Facebook's automated account recovery processes. It is unlikely that you would be able to access your account once more if the data was incorrect or outdated.

Check your Facebook login status while you're traveling. Before attempting to recover your account, be sure that none of your devices are currently signed into Facebook. The Facebook iOS or Android app, a mobile browser for your tablet or Kindle, a new browser or browser profile on your PC, and more are all options.

If you were unable to discover a device where you were still signed into Facebook, proceed with the recovery options. If at all feasible, log in to Facebook using the same internet connection, computer, or phone that you often use. If Facebook detects that network and device, you might be able to reset your password without needing any additional verification. However, you must first identify your account.

Discover Your Account and Recover It Using Your Contact Information

Open an alternative browser profile, such as a guest profile, and go to the Facebook recovery page if you don't have any access to Facebook or would rather not log out of another account. Enter a contact detail that you have already linked to your Facebook account, such as a phone number or email address. Try searching for a phone number with or without the area code for your country, such as 1, +1, or 001 for the US; all three of these should function. You can still use your Facebook username even if it isn't mentioned. If you can still access Facebook from a distance without a confirmation reset code, you might be able to "recover" your Facebook password even though you'll actually need to generate a new one.

If you are unable to access any of the email addresses or phone numbers linked to your account, provide a current one. Then, send security@facebookmail.com an email outlining your issue. Mention that you have previously submitted your ID as proof of identity. Don't link your ID to email; email is not a secure form of communication. Facebook response times may take a few days to several weeks, so you'll need to be patient. If you didn't use your real name on Facebook, you have very limited chance of being able to obtain your account back in this manner.
